Mid-rise and mixed-use renders

Corner buildings, apartments over shops and small mid-rise blocks, shown at street level and from above.

The buildings we render

Mid-rise work covers four- to eight-story apartment buildings, apartments over ground-floor shops, small office buildings and corner buildings that replace a parking lot or a row of old houses. These projects usually need a set of images: a hero view of the corner, a storefront close-up, an amenity interior and an aerial for context.

A typical set

  • Hero view from the corner at eye level, dusk or day
  • Storefront detail with signage zones left blank
  • Context aerial showing height against the block
  • Lobby, roof deck or amenity room interior

Context is the point

A mid-rise next to rowhomes is a big change, and the render that matters most at a hearing is the one that shows it honestly. We model the surrounding block from photos and aerial maps, at true height, so the step from three stories to six reads as it will in real life.

Storefronts

We leave signage areas blank or use neutral placeholders, since tenants are rarely signed when renders are made. Awnings, outdoor seating and street trees bring the ground floor to life.

Questions

Can you show the building at night?

Yes. Dusk views with lit windows and storefronts are popular for marketing. Send a lighting plan if you have one.

Do you render whole apartment interiors?

We render key rooms: a living room with kitchen, a bedroom and amenity spaces. Full unit sets are possible; ask in the brief.

Got elevations and a finish list? Send them with the views you need and the date you need them by.
